Albert Thomas Bonner, Sr., 89, of Fairfield, died Monday, July 25, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Skinner and Mr. David Blaschke officiating.
Interment followed at Bonner Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Sanders, David Blaschke, Jeff Harris, Jason Harris, Shane Frederick, Keith Bonner, and Seth Sanders. 
Albert was born April 14, 1927, in Freestone County to parents Jim Billie and Nannie Bell York Bonner.
He married Maxene Frederick on February 22, 1956 in Orange, Texas.
Albert, at one time, owned and operated a chair factory in Fairfield.
He and his brother Sam operated a Sinclair Gas Station which Albert took over when Sam left for the military. He operated several other gas stations at various locations in Fairfield during the following years; retiring from that business in the late 1990’s.
Albert also raised cattle on some of the best pasture land in the county.
He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church since 1957.
After retirement, Albert’s schedule included fishing and daily visits to Hometown Pharmacy, Bookshire Bros., the Senior Center, and the Post Office.
Albert loved his family, his church and God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Buddy in 2010; sisters – Hope Baker and Laura Bell; brothers – John, Joel, Bill, and Sam; and granddaughter-in law Cindy Bonner. 
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maxene; children – Diann Harris & husband Mike of Waxahachie and Bobby Bonner & wife Donette of Fairfield; grandchildren – Jeff & Diana Harris and Jason & Jessica Harris, all of Waxahachie; Krista & Jeremy Sanders of Fairfield, Jenny & David Blaschke of Bryan, Sarah Bonner of College Station, and Keith Bonner of Fairfield; and great-grandchildren – Macy & Marlie Harris, Harper & Hudson Harris, Seth, Ian, & Jack Sanders, and Sophia & Levi Blaschke.
